Let me return to my childhood. My memories of a big farm kitchen with a black range for cooking and heat. Always warm and filled with the smell of newly baked bread and whatever was being cooked for the next meal.

Farm & Family

This land has been in our family for over 300 years. Like many farms over the years, we have needed to continually diversify.

In the 1930s, we began delivering milk around homes in East Belfast. We used to train racehorses here too. In the mid-eighties, locals could forage strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and gooseberries on the land.

Two years later, we opened Streamvale Farm to the public and it has been growing ever since. This land and our family legacy are at the heart of everything we do. We were incredibly lucky to grow up in such a beautiful place and our aim is that The Pods at Streamvale offer others the opportunity to also experience the beauty of Belfast’s countryside.

We hope that you’ll forge your own memories of this little place that we call home.
