Can I book with children?

Unfortunately, we are currently an adult only retreat. When we began our journey, we launched predominantly as a romantic couple’s getaway but were determined to also be family friendly and did everything we could to accommodate this.

Unfortunately, with the limited space in the pods, a raised decking, a sunken hot tub and an exposed fire pit we had to make the difficult decision after two years that The Pods simply aren’t suitable for children. As business owners, we have to prioritize our guests and the safety of little ones.

We recognise that this is disappointing for families and can only apologise. We are still a relatively new business venture and all being well, we hope to expand in the future and will consider larger family pods.

Are pets allowed? 

Unfortunately, we have a no pet policy. We adore animals, but the field neighbouring the glamping pods has deer and we have lots of animals on the farm we need to prioritise.

Do you accept stag / hens? 

At this time, we are not accepting stag / hen bookings. We are a family run business, with some family members living nearby and we feel the need to respect this.

Can we use the open farm before/after our stay? 

Yes! Check in is at 3.30pm and check out is at 11am. However, you are more than welcome to visit the farm either side of these during their opening hours 11am-5pm. We have luggage facilities on site if you would like to store your belongings during your visit.

What is your Covid cancellation policy? 

The Pods at Streamvale will comply with Government guidelines and regulations surrounding Covid 19. In the scenario of another full lockdown, guests will receive a full refund.

If you have tested positive or are experiencing symptoms and you are booked to stay with us, please notify us by email or phone to discuss the postponement of your booking. We at The Pods at Streamvale want to make sure you can still enjoy your retreat, even if it takes place on a different date to originally planned.

Do you have disabled access? 

Unfortunately upon inspection, our pods did not meet the necessary requirements for wheelchair access. The doorway to the bathrooms is currently too narrow. This is something we intend to rectify as soon as possible and can only apologise for the disappointment at this time!

Does each pod have its own hot tub? 

Yes! Every pod has its own private sunken hot tub for you to enjoy during your stay!

Is the Open Farm open all year round?

No, please note that the Farm is closed from the 1st November – 17th March and prices have been reduced to reflect this. For guests visiting during the Christmas period, please note bookings for Streamvale Farm’s Christmas Experience must be made separately.

Terms and Conditions

1. We accept deposits of 50% of the total booking cost, subject to a minimum of £100. Balance is due 4 weeks before date of arrival and guests will receive a reminder email prior to this. Guests also have the option to pay in full at the time of booking.

2. Bookings are non-refundable. Subject to availability, bookings may be transferred to a later date. These amendments must be made a minimum of 2 weeks before date of arrival. If you change to another date for which a higher sum is charged, you will need to pay the difference at the time of change.

3. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests exhibiting unacceptable or antisocial behaviour, under which circumstances no reimbursement of booking charges will be due.

4. We will not accept any liability for any damage to or loss of any personal property while on site.

5. We kindly request that any complaints be made during the stay in order to give us the opportunity to rectify any problems.

6. We are relieved of any liability should, due to circumstances beyond our control, the pod become unavailable or unsuitable for letting. In such occurrences, any money paid will be reimbursed in full and the booking will be cancelled.

7. We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge if the pods/hot tubs are left in a particularly poor condition.

8. The pods are strictly non-smoking & no pets are allowed. Any evidence to suggest that there has been smoking in the pod will lead to additional cleaning charges.

9. The pods are thoroughly cleaned and all linen and towels are changed between lettings.

10. Guidelines for use of the hot tubs are provided in the information booklet upon arrival. This must be read and rules and regulations adhered to.

11. We ask that any noise outside of the pod i.e. music playing, has ended by 10.30pm, this is to ensure all guests on site can expect a quiet and relaxing evening.

12. Before use of the onsite fire pits and charcoal BBQS, guests must read the terms of use and health and safety implications and take full responsibility for their safe and proper usage. Full instructions for the use of these can be found in the information booklet provided upon arrival.

13. The Pods at Streamvale is a peaceful and tranquil countryside retreat surrounded by farm animals and wildlife such as highland cows, barn owls, red deer, foxes and many more. As such we ask that all guests respect the grounds we are located in and the natural habitat of these animals.

Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering, participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.  Entries submitted with incomplete information shall be deemed invalid entries.

Open to NI residents aged 18 years and over, except employees of The Pods at Streamvale employees, their families or agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

To enter, simply visit and follow The Pods at Streamvale Instagram or Facebook page, share the competition post on your stories and like and comment to tell us who you would bring with you.

The following prize is available to be won by 1 entrant (and their chosen guest):

The winner will win one overnight stay at The Pods at Streamvale for the night of your choice (dependent on availability) in one of the deluxe or premium pods with a hot tub. All travel and other expenses will be covered by the winners.

The Prize is only Redeemable by the named winner. It must not be sold on.

All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed. If the Promoter has reasonable grounds to suspect that such means are being used to circumvent this condition, then it may require the entrant to prove that such means were not used. If the Promoter becomes aware of an entrant using means to circumvent this condition, then these entries will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.

The Promotion commences at 6pm on 02/02/21 (Start Date) and closes at 5pm on 05/02/21 (the Closing Date) (the Promotion Period).  For the avoidance of doubt, this means that entries must have been received by the Promoter by the close of the Promotion Period in order to meet the Closing Date validity requirements.

The winner will be selected by means of a random draw conducted by an independent adjudicator from all of the valid entries received before the Closing date, to be held on Friday 5th February 2021 (the “Draw”). The judge’s decision is final.

The Winner will be notified of the fact that they have won within 7 working days by direct message via Instagram and/or Facebook. They will then be asked to supply details for confirmation of booking of prize.

The Promoter will use reasonable endeavors to contact the Winner using the contact details supplied upon entry to the Promotion. If a Winner does not respond within one week of the first notification, following 3 attempted contacts, then that individual forfeits the right to claim the Prize and the Promoter is free to nominate another winner.

The winner may not transfer or sell Prize. The unauthorised sale or disposal of prize is a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.

No cash or alternative prizes are available, with the exception that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, The Promoter reserves the right to award a similar prize of equal or greater value.

If for any reason any aspect of the Promotion does not function correctly, for any cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, integrity or fairness of the Promotion, then the Promoter may at its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or invalidate affected entries.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Promotion and/or prizes, other than such liability that cannot be excluded by law including death or personal injury caused by negligence, where liability shall be limited to the minimum permissible by law.

If there are reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant, The Promoter may, at its sole discretion invalidate the relevant entry and disqualify the entrant from the Promotion, irrespective of the stage in the Promotion reached.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or temporarily suspend this Promotion at any time with no liability to any entrant or any third party.

The decision of the promoter is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into.

This Promotion is subject to Northern Irish law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Irish courts.

Entrants hereby release Instagram/Facebook of all liability that can be excluded under Northern Irish law.

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram/Facebook.  Entrants should be aware that they are providing information to The Pods at Streamvale and not to Instagram/Facebook.

The winner may be requested by The Pod’s at Streamvale to take part in publicity related to the subject of the Promotion. If the winner agrees to take part in such publicity they will consent to the use of the winner’s name, photograph (which the winner will provide on request) and statements made by the winner concerning the promotion and/or prize in any promotional and advertising material and similar which arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

Gift Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash and are non-refundable.

All bookings exchanged for Gift Vouchers must be pre-booked, over the phone or via email (info@thepodsatstreamvale.com). The unique voucher code must be quoted upon booking.

We cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of Gift Vouchers. Gift Vouchers are not replaceable if lost, damaged, stolen or expired and are void if altered, photocopied or reproduced.

Gift Vouchers are valid within 24 months from the date of purchase and may not be redeemed beyond expiry.

In the event that the value of the Gift Voucher does not cover the full cost of the accommodation, the balance must be paid by the redeemer of the Gift Voucher on arrival at The Pods at Streamvale.

In the event that the Gift Voucher exceeds the cost of accommodation, guests may select add-ons provided by The Pods at Streamvale e.g. s’mores kits. Spare balance may not be redeemed for cash.

The Pods at Streamvale reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice.
